Curacao is a beautiful island that has a great historical significance - you can find many historical monuments, extraordinary landscapes, many activities for adventure enthusiasts and a lot of sun. Willemstad is the capital city and one of the busiest ports in the region, many visitors wanting to see the monuments of this port city which is one of the six UNESCO protected places in the Caribbean.
The main attraction in Curacao is the sea which is great for scuba diving and snorkeling (Curacao has recently won awards for best scuba diving and snorkeling destination) and other water sports. Although famous for this attraction, Curacao can also offer more interesting activities. You can enjoy world-class cuisine or try your luck in one of the many casinos.
Curacao also offers the opportunity to enjoy a variety of sports for all ages and all desires. From scuba diving, snorkeling, tennis, golf, mountain biking and windsurfing, to more relaxing such as jeep safari, sea kayaking and horseback riding. You can swim with dolphins, play bowling, ride a bike, go fishing, boating, rent ATVs, visit the famous Seaquarium and more.


You can choose from a variety of beaches. As we said, Curacao has over 40 beaches. You can choose between Playa Kalki, Westpunt Beach, Knip Beach - Playa Kenepa Grandi, Little Knip - Playa Kenepa Chiki, Playa Jeremi, Boca Santa Cruz and many others. You can't have a vacation without shopping. You can buy souvenirs for you, your family and your friends by visiting the following shops: Renaissance Mall & Rif Fort, Promenade Winkelcentrum, Zuikertuin Mall, Winkelcentrum Bloempot, Curacao Beach Boulevard.


After a tiring day of shopping you deserve to relax your body. For spa and wellness, here in Curacao you can go at Laman Spa & Wellness – located on the beach, Sensi Spa – also on the beach, but you also have the option to ask for a massage at a place of your own choice, even on the uninhabited island Klein Curacao, Body Care Caribbean and those are just a few.


You can try local and international dishes at one of these restaurants: On y va – Picnic, Bijna Thuis (Dutch for 'Almost Home'), Landhuis Classics, Landhuis Misje, The Wine Cellar.


You can try other activities and visit other attractions such as: Hato Caves (Tuesday – Sunday 9am - 4pm), Christoffel Park, Shete Boka Park (the park is opened daily from 09.00am to 5.00pm), Klein Curacao (a small island – 3 km2), Ostrich Farm, Curacao Seaquarium (opened daily from 8.30am to 5.30pm), Aloe Vera Plantation, Fort Amsterdam, Fort Beekenburg, Country House Ascension, Santa Martha Bay en Landhuis Santa Martha.
