Nightlife in Curacao

 

The island of Curacao has a diverse culture which means that you will have a lot of things to see when you’ll want to check out the island bars and clubs. There are a lot of events and places that makes Curacao a pleasure to visit and explore through the year.

One of them is during the Carnival that is taking place right now. The Carnival runs for several weeks and is one of the biggest one in the Caribbean. It ends with the Mardi Gras. During this experience a dozen of parades are running through the streets of Willemstad, the sides of the road are lined with chairs where spectators can stay and enjoy the show.

For the rest of the year you have a lot of clubs and beaches to visit and enjoy. In Curacao, every club has their own night when crowds of people gather and have fun until the morning comes. (Find this program at: www.k-pasa.com).

Among the island’s best venues is Blues, a restaurant and bar in the Avila Beach Hotel. The restaurant is open through the week, the only day that makes an exception being Monday. You will be greeted with live jazz music Thursday from 7 to 11 PM and Saturday from 8 to 11 PM.

At the Seaquarium, Mambo beach is a great beach to try. On Tuesday nights classic movies play under the stars, Sunday night is salsa night. The place is usually very crowdy during salsa night.

If you want to enjoy some live, Cuban music, Asia de Cuba is the place for you. Here you can also enjoy the Pan-Asian decor and cuisine that they offer.

The Sopranos Bar in Renaissance Rif Fort Mall has cocktails, live music and is open from noon to 3 AM (or later).

On Baya Beach at the end of Caracas Bai St. We have Mi Dushi, a floating club with a dance floor and a full barbecue. This club sails every Friday and costs $34 for adults and $20 for children aged from 6 to 14.

The island also has a lot of casinos. Among the most popular being The Princess Casino and Breezes Curaçao resort. You will also find Emerald Casino, a casino located at Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort that features four blackjack tables, 149 slot machines, two roulette wheels, two Caribbean poker tables, two Texas Hold em’ tables, and a craps table. You can also gamble at Holiday Beach Hotel & Casino.
