You will see that this amazing island is not only for adults, but for kids too. With plenty of things to do, I’m sure that you and your children will have a wonderful family vacation in Curacao. You already know about the beautiful and intimate beaches or about the island’s great diving places. So let me instead show you a list of things to do, and places to visit in Curacao that your kids will love:

Dolphin Academy


At this academy, the stars are represented by the dolphins themselves. Your kids will have the unique chance to interact with them and do a Dolphin Encounter. The kids can also have a free walk around the Sea Aquarium.


Brakkeput Mei Mei

This 18th century house, that was turned into a restaurant will assure your kids with tons of fun.
The kids will have the chance to play on the fully equipped playground that includes wooden playhouses, swings and sliders while you can relax at the restaurant.


Animal Encounters


If you want to experience scuba diving among turtles, stingrays and a variety of other fish, this is the place for you. They have programs for both, certified and non certified divers and snorkelers. While you dive, you will have the opportunity to feed the animals and have a more personal interaction with them.


Kunuku Aqua Resort


This resort will guarantee you a full day of fun! Located near the island’s famous beaches, Kunuku Aqua Resort is the only resort in Curacao that has a 137 feet water slide within its pool. The resort also has pool beds and a sports field.


Itsy Bitsy

A unique opportunity for children to pet beautiful miniature animals like guinea pigs, dwarf rabbits, miniature horses, miniature donkeys as well as the smallest chicken in the world. The farm is opened only in the weekend between 9:00-12:00 PM & 3:00-6:00 PM and starting at $2 per child (under 10 years)


Adventure City

Best word to describe this place is adventurous. This place with many games and a great atmosphere will offer your kids an amazing time while you will can have a seat at the food court area. The city is opened from 5:00 – 9:00 PM during the week and from 3:00-9:00 PM in the weekends.


Parke Tropical Zoo & Nature Reserve


Take your kids at the local zoo! They will not leave bored. The zoo has various activities for kids during the year like movie nights or fund raising events. The zoo can be visited daily between 10:00 AM & 5:00 PM.


Curacao Butterfly Garden

This is the perfect place to go if you want to teach your kids everything about butterflies. A tour of the butterfly gardens is what comes next and the final stop is at the restaurant where children can have a fresh fruit juice and a healthy lunch.


Marco’s Fish Farm

Marco’s Fish Farm is a great place if you have toddlers or small children! Your kids will love to play with the resident peacocks, lizards or go to the pool.

Willemstad Trolley Tour

Take your kids on a 75 minutes tour through historic Willemstad. The tour begins at Fort Amsterdam and continues with many interesting sights like the Floating Market, Scharloo, Pietermaai Cathedral, Waterfort Arches. Your tour will stop at Fort Amsterdam.

Curacao Ostrich Farm

Curacao Ostrich Farm is the home of more than 600 of these birds. Your kids will be able to feed, play and even ride the ostriches. The farm also offers safari tours of the properties and helps visitors get acquainted with the ostriches and ends where it begins: at the nursery where the eggs hatch.


Kidi’s park

This amazing park will offer you a unique experience.

The park is inspired on the coral reefs, fishes and dolphins from the beautiful beaches of Curacao. You will be surprised of the water experience that it has to offer along with its aquatic theme.




Located in L’aldea, Banda Ariba, on the east side of the Island, Amazonia will show you in an approximately 90 minutes journey 45,000 square foot filled with paintings, sculptures and murals from the Mayan, Aztec, Incan and Arowak cultures. Along the trip you will be able to enjoy a variety of animals like parrots, monkeys, iguanas and more.
